Electrical Engineering Principles provides learners with foundational knowledge and understanding of the basic concepts and applications of electrical engineering. It introduces the essential principles of electricity, including current, voltage, resistance, power, energy, and the laws governing electrical circuits. The course explores both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) circuits, series and parallel configurations, electrical safety, and the use of basic electrical instruments.
Students will develop analytical and practical skills in electrical circuit analysis, learn how to apply Ohm’s Law and Kirchhoff’s Laws, and conduct measurements using multimeters and oscilloscopes. The course also lays a foundation for more advanced studies in electrical machines, electronics, power systems, and control engineering.
